Adrienne Antonette Schnell, 92, of Sparta, passed away May 13, 2016, at NHC Healthcare of Sparta.
She was born in Alsace-Lorraine, Germany, on Feb. 23, 1924.
She was an active member of the First Christian Church of Sparta and a member of White County U.T. Extension Club. She enjoyed playing the drums.
Survivors include her sister, Jean Officer and husband James H. Officer, of Sparta; nephews, the Rev. Randall Balasky, Steven Douse; great-niece, Penny Deacons and husband the Rev. Jamison Deacons; and great-great-nephews, Samuel Deacons and Elisha Deacons.
A memorial service will be at noon, May 28, 2016, at Oak Lawn Funeral home. The family will receive friends after 11 a.m., May 28, at the funeral home.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
