Former White County High School Warrior Andrew Cantrell is now a sophomore at Tusculum University, in Greenville Tennessee.

Cantrell is in his second year as a Tusculum Pioneer.  He continues to follow a family tradition and is the punter for the Pioneers.  Cantrell has appeared in all eight games this season, and he has a punting average of 35.5 yards per kick.  He has punted 45 times, for a total of 1,597 yards.  Andrew’s longest punt to-date was 51 yards.  He has put the ball inside the 20-yard line 11 times with four touchbacks.

Cantrell’s career numbers are 99 punts for 3,686 yards and a 37.2 average. Twenty-eight balls have been placed inside the 20-yard line and seven touchbacks.  The Tusculum Pioneers have three games remaining.  Next Saturday, they take on Catawba, in Greenville.  On the Nov. 9, they play Mars Hill, in Greenville, and on Nov. 16, they travel to Carson Newman to finish the regular season.
