WCMS golf action


 The White County Middle School golf team has played six matches so far this spring, with the girls’ team compiling a 5 and 1 record, while the boys team sits at 2 and 4. This past week, the girls had a big win over Warren and Smith counties. The Warriorettes had a score of 100, while Warren County hit 118, and Smith County hit 122. During the match, which was played March 21, Ava Elrod put up the team’s lowest round of the season at 49. On the boys’ side, Tripp Tollison has this season’s lowest round, 41, which he recorded in a match against Crossville.
