Baccalaureate Service Held for WCHS Seniors

On Wednesday, May 13, the Ministerial Association of White County hosted the 2026 Baccalaureate service at White County High School.  The graduating class of 2026 was honored with a candlelight ceremony, a card with a gift, and free food before the event.  The service included an opening prayer by Pastor Brad Walker, praise and worship music, ministering of the Word of God by Pastor Bryan Simmons, and a closing prayer by Pastor Eugene Lawson.  White County High School student, Landon Kerr, served as the emcee of the event for the night.  92 seniors participated in the event, and an audience that filled most of the main gym.  The local Gideons came to support the graduating class by handing out Bibles to each Senior.  With the support of the White County Sheriff's office, the event was not only safe but peaceful for all those who attended.  The Ministerial Association of White County is proud to honor the graduates of 2026, as well as future graduates, each year by keeping the Baccalaureate service a strong tradition in White County.
