Piney Volunteer Fire Department responds to four calls April 30

According to a Facebook post, Piney Volunteer Fire Department, in Van Buren County, responded to a total of four calls, on April 30, 2022. Three calls were medical responses to Fall Creek Falls State Park. The fourth call was a request for mutual aid to assist Fredonia Fire Department and Dunlap Fire Department with a structure fire on Fredonia Mountain. The house was a total loss, but thankfully there was no loss of lives. The call came out as confirmed someone was trapped inside the house. The person escaped the house and was transported to the hospital.
