Warriors and Warriorettes start off season with two wins

 On Nov. 17, the Warriors and Warriorettes began the 2020-2021 basketball season with a double header win over visiting Tullahoma. 

The Warriorettes took to the court first and defeated the Wildcats by a score of 90-57.  The Warriorettes shot 75 percent from the three-point stripe, hitting nine of 12.  From the field, they shot 35 of 50 for 70 percent.  The Warriorettes went 11 of 17 for 65 percent from the free-throw line.

The Warriors came out strong against a young Tullahoma team and won by a final score of 94-46. 

The Warriors were 35 of 61 for 57 percent from the field.  They were 14 of 29 for 48 percent from the three-point line.  The Warriors were 10 of 17 for 59 percent from the free-throw line.

The Warriors’ and Warriorettes’ next home games are Nov. 19, at Roy Sewell Gymnasium, on the campus of White County High School.  Christian Academy of Knoxville will be traveling to Sparta to complete the Warriors’ and Warriorettes’ home Hall of Fame games. 

The official season begins Nov. 23 as Wilson Central High School will be traveling from Lebanon to take on the Warriors and Warriorettes.  Tip off time is set for 6 p.m. for the girls’ game with the boys to play after.
