WCMS seventh grade teams defeat South Middle from Franklin County

On Dec. 12, the White County Middle School Warriors and Warriorettes took on South Middle School from Franklin County in a conference matchup.  Both Sparta teams defeated South in the matchup.  The ladies took to the court first and soundly defeated South by a score of 50-16.

Ava Jones led the Warriorettes in scoring with 20 points.  Lakelyn Grasty scored eight points.  Marian Swindell and Hanna Poteet each had five points.  Josie Williams added four points.  Catherine Gottlied, Breanna Powell, and Luci McKee each had two points in the win.

The seventh grade Warriors defeated South by a score of 50-17.

Tripp Pinion led the scoring with 14 points.  Kason Seal added nine points.  Chase Stephens scored eight points.  Kane Smith added seven points.  Jordan Brown and Lucas Dickerson each added five points.  Will Stockton rounded out the scoring with two points in the win.
