David Anthony Ware, 62, of Sparta, passed away Nov. 1, 2020, at Signature Health Care, of Putnam County.
Mr. Ware was born May 28, 1958, in Brandon, Mississippi, the son of Ediman Ware and Billie Derrick Ware.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Randall Ware.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ware, of Sparta; son, John Ware, of Oregon; stepchildren, Wesley Lassitter, of Foley, Alabama, Sara Lassitter, of Mobile, Alabama; sisters, Edith Woods (James), of Florida, Janet Poston (Ernie), of Mississippi; brother, Joseph Ware, of Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Nov. 5, 2020, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Doug Benningfield will officiate. The family will welcome friends 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Nov. 5, at the funeral home.
The family has requested that all attendees please wear a face mask due to COVID-19. Please continue to practice social distancing while attending all visitations and services.
