Seth Michael Jolley, 22, of Sparta, passed away Sept. 14, 2021, at his home.
He was born Sept. 13, 1999, in Columbia, the son of Michael Jolley and Connie Roberts Jolley.
Seth loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, preferably with his mom and brother. An encyclopedia of sports trivia, Seth loved college football, especially the University of Tennessee Volunteers. He loved his family and friends, especially his little brother, who held a special place in his heart. He was the life of the party, never meeting a stranger. He was such a people-person. Being a dedicated follower of Christ, he attended Life Church of Cookeville. Seth was also a proud member of the United States Air Force, belonging to the 237th Intelligence Squadron. He was loved and will be missed very much.
Seth was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Betty Roberts.
Survivors include his parents, Michael Jolley and Connie Roberts Jolley, of Sparta; brother, Caleb Jolley, of Sparta; grandparents, William Michael Jolley, of Doyle, Carolyn Niess, of Silverpoint; uncles and aunts, Mike and Cindy Roberts, of Sparta, Larry and Tina Roberts, of Sparta, Tammy and Darrell Billings, of Sparta; and many other relatives of the Jolley and Roberts families.
Funeral service was 2 p.m., Sept. 19, 2021, at Life Church of Cookeville. Tyler Vaughn, Whitney Brown, Jim Fox, Roy Whited, Bobby Davis, Caleb Jolley, and Lt. Col. McQueary officiated. Burial followed in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
