The Tennessee Tech Alumni Association will host a Tennessee Titans tailgate event in Titan Town on Dec. 12, prior to the noon kickoff when the Titans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tennessee Tech is the education partner with the Tennessee Titans.
“This is a great opportunity for Tech alumni, especially in the Nashville area, to come out to have some fun and reconnect with each other,” said Brandon Boyd, director of Tech’s Crawford Alumni Center. “We are planning on a good time with good food and family fun as we cheer on the Titans.”
The cost is $50 per person and includes access to Titan Town, a buffet lunch, two drink tickets and attendance to the game. The tailgate starts at 10 a.m. and runs through noon. Titans Town features a buffet from local favorite Martin’s BBQ. The menu includes chicken, pulled pork, buns, baked beans, mac and cheese, unlimited sweet tea and lemonade. There are only 100 tickets available, and they are going fast
Tech has joined the Titans as the team's education partner, recently presenting the 10th annual Learning Lab series of events at Nissan Stadium. The Learning Lab events offered high school students an opportunity to go behind the scenes and learn about the inner workings of an NFL team.

Tennessee Tech is ranked as a “Best National University” by U.S. News & World Report. The university offers more than 200-plus programs of study, and Tech grads leave with the least debt of all public universities in the state. In fact, based on total cost and alumni earnings, Tech provides students with the highest return on investment for any public university in Tennessee, according to PayScale.
