WCMS volleyball remains undefeated with win on 8th Grade Night

The White County Middle School Warriorettes’ volleyball team has been having a stellar season, entering the final week of play undefeated.

The Warriorettes extended their winning streak beating Avery Trace in two straight sets, on Sept. 14, as the team’s 8th graders were recognized. While 8th Grade Night, much like Senior Night at the high school level, is often reserved as the last home game, this year’s team will get to play in front of the home crowd a little longer as White County Middle School will be hosting the district tournament, on Sept. 27 and 28.

“I am proud of how hard they are working to maintain their undefeated record,” Warriorettes coach Brittany King said of the undefeated team. “The girls give 110  percent every game and work together well as a team, always building one another up. I hope that we can end the season just as strong as we started and finish up with an 11-0 record going into the conference tournament.”
