White County High School Golf team holds tournament

The White County High School golf team held their annual golf scramble this past week at the Sparta Country Club.  It was a very successful turnout as 72 players took to the course to help the golf team and to compete against each other.  Coaches Brandon Sims and Michael Cunningham stated, “ We want to thank everyone who came out to play and volunteered to help in this effort.  We had 18 teams come out and the money raised will help out with the expenses such as golf balls, bags, uniforms, and tournament entry fees for the upcoming season.  Our first match is quickly approaching, and all the young men and women golfers are excited to get things going this season.”
