The White County Middle School Warrior football team beat conference foe Macon County, on Sept. 7, by a score of 30-14 to improve to 4-1 on the year overall and, more importantly, 3-1 in conference play, keeping their playoff hopes alive.
Coach Aaron Brown made it clear that the “stars of the night” were the offensive linemen who had their way with Macon County’s front four, making huge holes and running lanes for the Warrior runners. As a result of their dominance up front, Griffin Adams ran for 130 yards and two touchdowns, and Cortez Sherrell rushed for and additional 120 yards and two touchdowns.
