Sparta youth top 4 in Putnam County demolition derby

Several Sparta youth competed in the Putnam County Youth Demolition Derby, on Aug. 7, at the 2022 Putnam County Fair. The youth class was ages 12-16 years old, with no driver license. Each was required to have a partner as a passenger while competing. Those four Sparta youth drivers took home the top four spots out of nine cars, with Breanna Powell bringing home first place; Jonathan Boswell, in second; Treeah Powell in third and also Mad Dog winner for the most aggressive hitter; and fourth place went to Shelby Elam.
