2026 Homecoming Keeps Record Streak Alive

SPARTA, Tenn. — On a beautiful Thursday night at Warrior Stadium and Dee Harris Field, the No. 1 team in the Upper Cumberland wasted absolutely no time showing why it sits atop the TSSN Elite 8.
White County 48, Warren County 7.

And the Warriors are now 7-0 for the first time in the TSSAA playoff era.
White County set the tone on its very first offensive snap.

Cole Sims — 45 yards to the crib.

Just like that, the Warriors were on the board.
Then Bryson Hogg took over.

Hogg ripped the football away from a Warren County ball carrier and took it back for a Warrior touchdown. On the Pioneers’ very next possession, Hogg was in the right place again, intercepting Warren County quarterback AJ Whitman for back-to-back takeaways.

White County turned that into another Hogg reception and score and just like that, 20-0.

At that point, you could feel it. The Warrior Freight Train was starting to roll.

White County stretched the advantage to 27-0 before back-to-back Warrior turnovers stalled two promising drives and gave Warren County an opportunity to get on the board.

The Pioneers did just that and briefly showed some life. But White County slammed the door.

The Warriors’ skill players found running lanes throughout the night behind a massive, physical offensive front, and White County continued to impose its will as the game progressed.

With the outcome decided, both programs were able to build some depth in the second half, getting younger players valuable varsity snaps that could pay dividends down the road.

But Thursday night belonged to White County.

48-7.
7-0.

And this group continues to go where no White County team has gone before in the TSSAA playoff era.

The Warriors will get an extra day of preparation before heading to Smithville next Friday night for another important region matchup against DeKalb County.
